Usability

Many customizations:

Whether adding doors or dovetail drawer boxes, items can be customized with CTRL+ENTER or right-mouse-click
All orders, invoices, and customizations are stored in a local database in your office
Multi-user friendly, including database-imposed locks to prevent overwriting other users' changes
Database can store more than 9 quintillion unique orders (9,223,372,036,854,775,807)

Order scheduling
Printing (confirmations, orders, cut lists, scheduling, shipping, invoicing)
Barcode reader support using ARM BeagleBone computers and USB barcode readers can easily be used to update order status and tracking in real-time from anywhere on the shop floor
Integration with Highrise CRM

Cut lists

Generates cut lists for doors, drawers, plywoods, dovetail drawer boxes, and butcher blocks
Supports simultaneous use of metric and imperial measurements, even within the same order
Cut list granularity can be configured to be 1/32", 0.01", 0.01 mm, 0.1 mm, 0.5 mm, or 1.0 mm

Additional features

Easily search for orders using any of several dozen fields
Live status tracking means easy access to many daily schedule reports
Order-specific history
Database and application usage history
Selectable outside, frame, and panel profile; profiles can easily be modified, added, and removed

Printing

Printing is done via HTML reports
All HTML reports -- e.g., order confirmation and invoice -- can easily be converted to PDF to send to customers

Administration

Administration tool lets you add, modify, remove and customize many parts of the system
All settings are stored in the central database to ensure all users remain configured the same way at all times
Invoicing is not only based on wood type, finish, and minimum square footage, but preferred customers can easily be setup with discounts to base costs, certain wood types, and smaller minimim square footage

Database on the back-end is open-source PostgreSQL
Application uses JUCE for GUI and libpqxx for database access
